Meet Our Food Pantry Coordinator
Janet Alvarado spends most of her time at Bridging For Tomorrow in our Community Center, meeting with clients and managing the day to day operations of our food pantry. She says that the best part of her job is getting to know her clients and discovering ways to help them get back on their feet when they’re going through a difficult time.
Born and raised in Texas, Janet has lived in Northwest Houston since she was 14 and was a student at Klein Forest High School. She’s excited to be a part of the Bridging For Tomorrow team because it feels like a family, and she enjoys doing work that makes a difference in her community. Her hope is that the food pantry will continue to grow so that we are able to serve more people.
Janet has three daughters – Janet, Jasmine, and Jennifer. In her free time, she loves to listen to music and spend time at the beach.
