This Fall, we were able to serve over 750 families in our community through our Fall Food Distribution. It took months of planning and preparation to make it happen. We had dozens of Community Builders in our office to help organize paperwork, unload trucks, organize the pantry, pack the bags, and deliver them to our partnering Title I schools. The schools then distributed the bags to students in need. Many of these students rely on the meals provided by the school and are forced to go without enough to eat when school is not in session. Each students’ family received a bag filled with food so they could enjoy nutritious meals over Thanksgiving break.
Our Fall Food Distribution is a great example of the power of partnership and the way we rely on Community Builders to make our programs possible!
