Meet Our New Director of Community Programs
We are excited to welcome Evelyn Franco to our team!
Evelyn has been one of our Community Partners for many years. Before joining our staff, she was the Parent Liaison at Klein Forest High School for 8 years. She has consulted with Bridging For Tomorrow and provided much-needed bilingual counseling service hours to families in our community. She is excited about the opportunity to serve the community she loves in a new and more strategic way. As the Director of Community Programs, Evelyn will evaluate the community’s assets and needs, cultivate community resources, and oversee the operations of our programs. She hopes to use her gifts and experience to provide meaningful services that will make a lasting impact on families in our neighborhood.
Evelyn began her undergraduate studies at the College of New Rochelle in New York and completed her Bachelor of Psychology at Walden University. She received a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. Evelyn has been married for 24 years and has two teenage children, Christopher and Catherine. She enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, gardening, and watching her 100 gallon salt-water aquarium blossom.
