Meet Our Director of Community Affairs
We are delighted to announce the addition of Marcee Champion to our staff! Marcee will serve as the Director of Community Affairs, and will oversee the operations of our programs in the community. Marcee has faithfully volunteered with Bridging For Tomorrow in a variety of capacities including working in our Food Pantry, mentoring a student, and serving at our After School Clubs. In addition to her heart for the community, she brings a wealth of experience both as a Community Builder and an educator.
Marcee grew up in Lansing, KS. She studied political science and Russian studies at the University of Houston before getting her Master's degree in political science from LSU. She is married to Dr. Bret Champion and they have two sons who are both in college. In her free time, she loves reading good books, hiking, and cross stitching. After teaching for 22 years, Marcee is excited to join Bridging For Tomorrow and take on a new challenge. She is looking forward to working as part of team to discover new ways to make our community stronger. Her hope is to help members of the community move towards becoming the person that God created them to be.
