Ignacio Lara is a loving husband and stay-at-home dad. He enjoys spending time laughing and collecting bugs with his three beautiful daughters. Ignacio has always felt led to serve and believes that giving to others is an important part of God’s calling on his life. He was looking for a way to serve the community and was connected with Bridging For Tomorrow by his friend Jessie, our Volunteer Manager.
Every week he assists Sabina in the Food Pantry by welcoming clients and helping them shop for items. He enjoys serving in the Pantry because he gets to know real families and listen to their stories. His favorite moments are when he sees a parents’ eyes light up with hope for their children. He loves going home and telling his kids about the work that he is doing and how it aligns with the lessons they learn from the Bible. Ignacio believes that God is at work through our Food Pantry and is thankful to be a part of it.
